Our Team

Trained & Capable Staff:

Our staff meets regularly to discuss the needs and progress of each association.  Everyone takes on responsibility as the department teams communicate activities and share ideas to make all programs succeed.

Our entire staff is devoted to assisting our clients reach their goals and objectives and is experienced in working and communicating with people in all trades, professions and government.  All of the members of the IMI team are skilled at responding to the needs of the members of our client associations and attend seminars, training programs and classes regarding the management of associations, how to work with and motivate volunteers as well as to keep up with new technology and trends.  We strive to constantly be aware of social and economic trends that affect member based associations. 

We take pride in the many letters from members thanking them for taking extra time, and going that extra mile.  We continually market programs for our clients and represent them in a professional and ongoing basis.  We can handle any task that is given to us.  If we don't have the expertise in-house, we are very familiar with consultants to the business community and utilize the best person for the job.

IMI staff members assist volunteers in being mission-driven by developing a clear vision of success, and implementing activities to ensure that stated goals and objectives are achieved.

Strong political, local education & community involvement:

IMI is active in government, both from personal volunteer efforts as well as representatives of our respective clients.   Members of IMI are registered lobbyists and make periodic trips to Washington DC to maintain relationships with our elected members of Congress and their staff. We are experienced in working with regulatory agencies, i.e., the FAA, Department of Agriculture, OSHA, EPA, Department of Regulatory Affairs, Department of Labor and the Department of Transportation.

Our staff has worked with virtually every school district in the State of Colorado as well as higher education, as it relates to client sponsored competitions and scholarship activity.  IMI staff members are volunteers and are active in our professional organizations, community programs, chambers of commerce and Rotary International.


Association Executives:

 

Nicole Plese

Nicole joined IMI in 2001 and has been a dedicated member of our team. She has served clients in almost every capacity throughout her fifteen years here. Nicole’s responsibilities at IMI include executive management of the Public Relations Society of America – Colorado Chapter, North American Hazardous Materials Management Association (NAHMMA) and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA-RMC).  Nicole’s administrative duties include, but are not limited to: overseeing board meetings, responsible for the development and distribution of meeting minutes, action items, and other miscellaneous meeting materials; membership retention and recruitment; meeting, conference and tradeshow management, communications and marketing. She has extensive knowledge with web software such as YourMembership.com and Wild Apricot and has been instrumental in maintaining multiple websites for our clients. She is adept at newsletters, both hard copy and online; membership directories, hard copy and online and web site development and management. She has been very successful in assisting clients with obtaining advertising, sponsorships and other sources of non-dues income. Nicole is very familiar with development and maintenance of CEU programs. Nicole has an exceptional professional relationship with volunteers’ which has made her integral part of the team. She is a valuable asset to every client and account executive and is knowledgeable about best practices in association management.

Amanda Rewerts

Prior to joining IMI, Amanda was with Rocky Mountain Farmers Union for seven years, an organization that advocates for family farmers and ranchers, rural communities, and consumers where she assisted with membership services, fundraising and educational activities, along with database management. Amanda’s administrative duties include, but are not limited to: overseeing board meetings, membership retention and recruitment; workshops, conference and tradeshow management, communications and marketing as well as web publishing, development and updating content.  Amanda joined IMI in 2013 and currently manages the Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) and National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA) and has shown to be a true asset to the team.

Kala Travis
Kala joined IMI in 2015. Kala’s responsibilities at IMI include managing daily accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, logging and making bank deposits, administrative management/support, managing membership databases, constructing, distributing and analyzing membership satisfaction/vision surveys, content support and marketing communications strategy. She has experience in Convention/Event marketing, membership publications, In-house publishing and graphic design, Web publishing, development and content updating, and membership recruitment and retention. She has extensive experience providing clients with creative solutions, e-newsletter distribution,
seminar planning and content support across multiple communication platforms. Kala currently manages the Professional Convention Management Association - Rocky Mountain Chapter.

Eric Gustafson
Eric Gustafson has been a part of Interactive Management, Inc. since 2000. Over that time he has been involved with the Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendent Association (RMGCSA), Rocky Mountain Agribusiness Association and the Rocky Mountain Environmental Golf Institute (RMEGI). He has been past president for RMGCSA, RMEGI and the Rocky Mountain Regional Turfgrass Association (RMRTA). Eric has been involved with all aspects of association management which include but not limited to planning and implementing seminars, trade shows, and publications.

Kelley Mazur

Kelley attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for general studies before starting her career at Wynn Las Vegas Resorts in Event Planning, Marketing and Hospitality. It was at the Wynn that she gained her skills in managing events and marketing campaigns for two luxury resort properties. In October of 2013, Kelley shifted her career focus to non-profit where she would manage the Children’s Heart Foundation of Nevada. Her proficiencies grew to managing finances, multiple databases and coordinating with a board full of passionate individuals to drive forward the mission of the organization. Kelley is anxious to utilize her skill set and assist NCWSS and SWSS in realizing their goals and organizational achievements.

Ashley Montoya
Ashley joined IMI in 2016. Ashley is an integral part of the IMI team assisting with all clients and staff in multiple capacities. Ashley has experience in convention and event management, marketing, social media, communication, membership, meeting management and financial management. She successfully maintains membership databases as well as monthly billings and collection of all membership fees and manages daily accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Ashley has experience with in-house publishing, graphic design, web publishing, web design, and web development. Ashley is able to build professional relationships with clients and members and serve our organizations to the upmost highest quality with a positive attitudeand creative solutions. Ashley currently manages the Chartered Financial Analyst Society- Colorado Chapter.
